Meet Jolie! Would you look at this beauty! Jolie is a 20-month-old Shepherd mix weighing approximately 65 pounds who is ready to find a family to call her own. Jolie is a young, active dog who enjoys life to the fullest. She loves playing with other dogs and has done wonderfully with the dogs in her foster home, including puppies. She is respectful of the adult dogs and enjoys having canine friends to romp around with and learn from. Like many young dogs her age, Jolie is still working on some of her manners. She can get excited when meeting people and may need continued guidance with things like jumping and other "big dog" behaviors. The good news is that she is eager to be with her people and responds well to structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement. Jolie is a very affectionate girl who enjoys spending time with her humans and being included in daily activities. Whether she's playing in the yard, hanging out with her dog friends, or relaxing near her people, she is happiest when she feels part of the family. She appears to be both house trained and crate trained and has adjusted well to life in her foster home. Jolie would thrive with an active family that can provide exercise, continued training, and plenty of love. If you're looking for a beautiful, social, and fun-loving companion who is past the tiny puppy stage but still has plenty of youthful enthusiasm, Jolie may be the perfect fit for your family. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
