The rescue’s notes on Jesse
Location: Andover, NJ Jesse is a 9 week old male red heeler mix. He is about 9lbs and is a bit smaller than his littermate, James. Jesse loves exploring, jumping into your lap between play sessions with his brother, and would likely do well with a companion to show him the ropes in his new home. Jesse is still young but shows all the signs of an independent thinker. He figures puzzles out quickly. He's feisty, athletic and curious. Jesse is looking for an active home experienced in raising heeler puppies. By the time of adoption Jesse will have been dewormed three times, received his first round of vaccinations, and microchipped. He will require a spay/neuter contract. He has started on crate training and outside for pottying (but obviously has a ways to go with being housetrained) and has a good start with some basic commands, comfort with being handled and vetted, no guarding issues, loves all people, children and other dogs.
