I won't fib — I've got a little grey on my muzzle. But being older just means I'm past the wild puppy stuff and all about cozy company and slow, happy mornings.

The rescue’s notes on BEST FRIEND BUDDY
Best friend Buddy is the total package. He loves people and greets everyone, always eager for attention. At 12, Buddy ended up in a rural Tennessee shelter. We do not know his backstory or why such a sweet boy would land in a shelter. We may never know. At Critter Cavalry, we adore seniors and believe they deserve every chance to find a loving home. You won't regret considering Buddy—he loves everyone, whether human or animal. Buddy is everyone's best friend. Buddy is healthy for a senior. He has limited sight and hearing, but is otherwise in good shape. He navigates his foster home easily and enjoys exploring the fenced yard. He comes when called—just use a louder voice. Buddy is ready to retire with a couple eager to add him to their family. He'd love a fenced yard to explore—size isn't important—and an active retirement with short walks and car rides. He will be a wonderful addition to a family that matches his lifestyle. If you want a new best friend, Buddy is perfect for you.
