The rescue’s notes on Leia

Meet Leia! Leia is a beautiful 6-year-old Aussie mix weighing around 39 pounds who is ready to find her forever home! This sweet girl was found off Mulberry in Rockwall on 05/21/26 and was never reclaimed, but she's now hoping for a second chance with a loving family. Leia is playful, walks nicely on a leash, and was great for her bath. She enjoys the simple comforts in life, especially cozy beds and soft blankets. She's an affectionate, easygoing girl who would love a home where she can relax, play, and be part of the family. Leia has been non-reactive around other dogs while in our care, though she has not yet been formally dog tested. If you have another dog at home, a meet and greet will be required to help ensure a good fit. She has been treated for flea dermatitis, and while it may take a little time for her skin to fully heal, she is already on the road to feeling much better. Leia is spayed, microchipped, and current on her Rabies, DAPPV and Bordetella vaccines. She did test heartworm positive but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, her treatment is sponsored.
