Hi, new friend! Lucas here.

I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and a few zoomies) saved up for the right person.

I'm on the bigger side — but honestly, that's just more of me to hug.

I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Lucas 🐾

The rescue’s notes on Lucas

Lucas is a sweet two-year-old boy. A little timid when getting to know you, once he approves, he is very loving and enjoys pets and praise. Once comfortable in his environment, he wants to play with other dogs and enjoys being with the pack. He needs a confident dog to show him the "rules". He was mostly raised to be outdoors and does not want to come in the main house, but he does enjoy the dog room and uses a dog door easily. He enjoys the couch! He does not react to the indoor cats and gets along with the other dogs, although he does try and show dominance with dog friends. He is tolerant of brushing but does not like to be "messed" with and will avoid you for a while if you irritate him. He does not bark excessively. Lucas will make someone a very good companion. **Tune in to our Facebook page (Great Pyrenees Rescue Society - GPRS) every Sunday at 3pm CT to see our dogs LIVE!
