Meet Solara.We do not know how long she waited in that empty Bronx apartment after her owners moved away and left her behind. We only know that when a Good Samaritan finally found her, she was skin and bones, starving, abandoned, and alone. The people she trusted most had disappeared, leaving her with nothing but silence and an empty home.And yet somehow, Solara still loves.She still gently leans into human touch. She still looks at people with hopeful eyes. She still wags her tail when someone speaks kindly to her, as if she is desperately trying to believe that not all humans will leave.It is impossible to understand how a dog who was failed so deeply can still have such a soft and loving heart.Solara is not looking for perfection. She is not asking for much. She just wants what every dog deserves; a family who will love her enough to stay. A warm bed. A full belly. A hand to hold. A home where she will never again wonder if someone is coming back for her.She has already survived the worst part of her story. Now she deserves the beautiful ending.Please do not let Solara be overlooked.
