Vixie is a 1 year old female Pit mix with a stunning red coat and a heart just as lovely as she is. At about 40-45 pounds, she's a perfect medium size (smaller than she may look in photos), making her an ideal adventure buddy and cuddle companion all in one. This sweet, friendly girl loves going on walks, spending time with people, and soaking up every bit of attention she can get. Vixie turns heads wherever she goes, but all she truly wants is a forever person to love. She also seems dog-friendly and enjoys politely greeting pups in nearby play areas before happily running and playing alongside them. And on warm days, Vixie loves taking quick dips in the kiddie pool to cool off, showing off her playful and fun-loving personality. With her joyful spirit, loving nature, and gorgeous looks, Vixie is more than ready to find the forever home she deserves. Come meet this sweet girl and let her steal your heart! The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
