Animal Information: Marlo is a sweet 5-month-old, 24-pound Dobie mix. He was brought into the shelter as a stray, but his friendly nature and eagerness to engage made staff question whether or not he was just dumped. Marlo makes fast friends with anyone he meets, and he is social and playful with other dogs. He is very respectful of other dogs in play group and seems to mesh well with anyone he goes in the yard with. We love his wiggly energy! Foster Profile: Ever wanted a dog with an ever so derpy face? Meet Marlo! He loves showing off his pearly whites which will make any dentist jealous. He has been so calm for his age, though, he's still very much a puppy and his lanky legs will make you think he's more like a deer than a dog. Marlo is great about laying at your feet (or lap) and has been learning how to settle. Still working on potty training, though is great in the crate. He loves playing with toys and is figuring out what is and is not a toy.Marlo is a quick learner and is fun to train and would love to see him go to a home that will keep up with his training. He is more on the submissive side and has been great with other dogs of all sizes. He is still learning the navigate the world and slowly figuring out some things aren't so scary after all (such as the bath). He will make a fantastic active companion while also wanting to Netflix and chill Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microc hip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian.
