The rescue’s notes on Elana

Meet Elana, a 3-month-old German Shepard mix born on Nov. 18th 2025. She is the total package confident, intelligent, and wonderfully well-balanced. She approaches the world with curiosity and composure, taking new environments and surroundings in stride. Nothing seems to rattle this girl! She is great with all animals as well as children. She is doing great with training and is especially receptive to track work and basic obedience. Elana is very handler-aware, eager to learn, and genuinely enjoys using her brain. Puppy puzzles, structured work, and mental challenges are her jam she's the kind of dog who lights up when given a job to do.Elana would thrive in almost any living environment apartment or a home as long as she continues receiving engagement and mental stimulation. She's smart without being overwhelming, driven without being intense, and affectionate without being clingy.Elana is located in Houston, Texas. However, we transport to most states for an additional fee of $300.
