The rescue’s notes on Mika

Meet Mika, an exceptionally sweet and friendly Great Pyrenees mix who is ready to find her forever family. Born in August 2025, this young pup has already made a big journey in her short life, starting out as a stray in Texas before traveling north to Minnesota to find a fresh start. Mika is fully house-trained and crate-trained, making her transition into a new home much smoother for her adoptive family. Mika is a true social butterfly who absolutely adores everyone she meets, including all humans and other dogs. She has also been introduced to cats while on a leash and in a kennel, handling the meetings beautifully with no issues at all. One of her absolute favorite activities is giving heartwarming hugs to her human friends, showing off her gentle and loving nature. When it is time for a stroll, Mika likes to keep her favorite people as close as possible. While on a leash, she loves to walk right next to your feet, occasionally even stepping playfully between your legs to stay connected. She is a gentle, affectionate companion who is completely ready to fill a lucky home with endless love and loyalty. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
