The rescue’s notes on MARLEE
Marlee is a Great Pyrenees who was found roaming rural property with little human connection or socialization. Initially wary of people, she has blossomed in foster care and now welcomes affection from those she trusts, revealing her sweet and gentle nature. She is crate trained, gets along well with other dogs and cats, and is good with young children, though she can still be shy when meeting new people. Marlee is sensitive to her humans' emotions and forms meaningful bonds with those who care for her. She needs a patient, loving family familiar with the Great Pyrenees breed and requires a securely fenced yard with privacy fencing or wrought iron containment, as the breed has strong climbing and roaming instincts.
