The rescue’s notes on NOLA

“Nola is a beautiful and sweet 1.5 year old German Shepherd mix that weighs around 68 lbs. She is a typical shepherd in that she is smart, curious, and active but not overly so. Nola is very food motivated and eager to please, so I believe she would be easy to train. She is already getting the hang of walking on a leash without pulling and has done great so far with both potty and kennel training, loved getting brushed and bathed, and rides perfectly in the car. She has done well with calm dogs she has met on leash and wants so much to play with our 10 lb. dog, but she is just a tad too rough in play for his liking. She will melt into humans and gives the best shepherd hugs. She has not been around small children or cats. Overall, she is a gem and would be an amazing addition to an active family.”
