The rescue’s notes on Zasha

Meet Zasha! When Zasha arrived in rescue she wasn't alone. She came with her 3 newborn puppies depending on her. During her initial veterinary care we learned Zasha was heartworm positive. Because her babies needed her, treatment had to wait until the puppies were fully weaned and on their own. As soon as they were ready, each one of them found loving, forever homes. Meanwhile, Zasha stayed behind, spending the following months getting healthier, and completing her heartworm treatment. We're thrilled to share that after the standard heartworm protocol, and waiting period before re-testing, Zasha is now heartworm negative! Vets estimate Zasha to be about 4 years, old. She's up to date on her core vaccines, microchipped, and will be spayed prior to going to a forever home. Interested in adopting me? To fill out an application visit 3 Hearts 4 Paws.
