Oh — hi! Louise here.

I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and a few zoomies) saved up for the right person.

I'm on the bigger side — but honestly, that's just more of me to hug.

I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Louise 🐾

The rescue’s notes on Louise

Louise is a lovable pup who is learning that good things happen when she follows the rules! She has already figured out that heading into her crate usually means something wonderful is coming next, making her a great candidate for continued training. This sweet girl absolutely loves curling up in a cozy bed for a nap, but her favorite thing of all is getting one-on-one attention where she can truly soak up all the love. While she adores her sister, Louise really blossoms when given the chance to shine on her own. She is very close to being fully potty trained and would thrive with a family willing to keep her on a consistent schedule. Like many puppies, she's still working on her manners and can get a little enthusiastic with her greetings, so a home without small children may be the best fit while she continues learning not to jump. If you're looking for a cuddly, affectionate pup with lots of potential and a heart full of love, Louise may be your perfect match! This pup will be available to meet starting on 6/13They were rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas.Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
