Maisie was once a timid little wallflower who hid from her own shadow. Now she's stealing snacks, stealing hearts, and occasionally stealing the warm spot on the couch. She’s undergone what her foster mom lovingly calls a complete `glow-up.` When she first arrived in foster care, she wasn't quite sure the world was a safe place. Fast forward to today, and she's blossomed into a social butterfly who has discovered that life is pretty wonderful when it's shared with people who love her. If Maisie could describe her perfect day, it would be a simple one: a leisurely walk with her favorite person, a game of tug with her beloved rope toy, and a cozy afternoon nap nearby while you read, watch TV, or work from home. The cherry on top? A visit with her dog and cat friends before ending the day exactly where she loves to be: right beside her family. According to her foster mom, one of the greatest gifts of caring for Maisie has been watching her go from cautiously observing the world to fully enjoying it. These days, she follows her people from room to room, asks for belly rubs, and snores contentedly after a day spent close to the ones she loves. From shelter dog to pampered pup, Maisie is ready for her final happily ever after. She’s still searching for the one thing she doesn't have yet: a forever family to share it with.
