Towns – Affectionate, Playful, and Sensitive Young Companion Towns is a 10-month-old, 36-pound white mixed-breed dog with a moderate energy level and a sweet, people-focused personality. He is social, playful, and still building his confidence and basic training skills, and will do best in a home that can offer structure, enrichment, and gentle guidance. Affectionate and people-oriented: Towns quickly forms bonds with handlers and seeks out attention once comfortable. He is very affiliative, enjoys close contact, and may climb into laps for affection. When excited, he can be jumpy and a bit mouthy, but he responds well to redirection. Playful and toy-engaged: He enjoys soft toys and interactive play, especially in a structured setting. He benefits from enrichment that helps channel his youthful energy in positive ways. Smart and treat-motivated: Towns is highly food-motivated and already beginning to learn basic cues like "sit." He takes treats gently and shows strong potential for continued training with positive reinforcement. Dog-social and gentle: In playgroups, Towns has shown calm, polite behavior with other dogs and enjoys appropriate social interactions. He would do best with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home. Towns will thrive in a moderately active, patient home that can support continued training and confidence-building. He may do best with dog-savvy teens or adults who can help him channel his enthusiasm and continue his social development.
