She bounces through life with playful bursts of happiness, then melts right into your arms when it's time to recharge. One moment she's a tiny whirlwind of fun, the next she's a cuddle connoisseur who believes laps were invented just for her. If you're looking for a best friend who can turn an ordinary day into something a little brighter and a lot cozier, Cherry is ready to wiggle her way home. The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you'll need a simple questionnaire filled out. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
