The rescue’s notes on Myrtle

Hello, my name is Myrtle! I am an approximately 10 week old female Lab mix puppy who was found as a stray near Old Millwood Road and Camp Creek. Unfortunately, my owners never came forward to reclaim me, so I am now available for adoption and ready to find a loving forever home. As a young puppy, I am still learning everything there is to know about being a well mannered canine companion. I will need a family that has the time, patience, and commitment to continue my training and socialization as I grow. Puppies require a significant investment of time and energy, but in return, they provide years of love, companionship, and unforgettable memories. Because I am still developing physically and behaviorally, my future size, temperament, and activity level cannot be guaranteed. Adopters should be prepared for all the joys and responsibilities that come with raising a puppy into adulthood. My adoption fee is $125 and includes my spay, rabies vaccination, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, and deworming. Please note that my spay surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 2026. This appointment is non negotiable and will be required as part of my adoption. An approved online adoption application is required prior to scheduling a meet and greet.
