Milo is an eight-month-old Australian Shepherd mix weighing 32 pounds who was rescued after being abandoned along a local greenway. Once timid and fearful, he has blossomed in foster care and now warms up quickly to people, though he remains cautious around loud noises and unfamiliar situations. He is gentle and affectionate, gets along well with children, cats, and other dogs, and is making good progress with potty training. Milo would thrive best in a home with another friendly dog and a family able to provide frequent companionship, as he does not do well when left alone for long periods; he should eat meals separately from other dogs.
