Well, hello! TATE here.

I've got a feeling you and I could be pretty great together.

I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — TATE 🐾

The rescue’s notes on TATE

Meet Tate — Ready for His Happily Ever AfterAfter having lived on a tether for likely his entire life, Tate is finally getting his chance at a brand-new beginning. This adorable 1 year 6 month old boy is stepping into his fresh start with a heart of pure gold and an eagerness to experience what real companionship feels like.Since arriving at our shelter, Tate met a larger neutered male dog. He was understandably reserved at first, approaching slowly and cautiously. Before long, he allowed his new friend to sniff him, loosened up, offered a play bow, and even zoomed around a little. After that, he relaxed completely—walking up to his canine buddy multiple times and even trying to play again. He did wonderfully for all of his medical and behavior exams and is now officially ready for the next big step: adoption. If you can offer the next chapter that leads to his happily ever after, Tate would love to meet you. He will be available when we open for adoptions tomorrow at 12pm. We are a first-come, first-served, in-person adoption center. All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Adopters should establish veterinary care after adoption to maintain their pet’s long-term health.Meet and greets with children and other dogs are recommended to ensure a great fit.We do not have information on how Tate does with cats and are unable to test for that. Please bring a collar and leash, or you may purchase a combo from us for $15 to take your new family member home safely.Don’t forget the 3-3-3 Rule:• 3 Days to decompress• 3 Weeks to learn routines• 3 Months to build trustAdoption Fee: $80Tate / A3170941 year 6 months old • Neutered male • 44.60 pounds#adoptfromicas #myicasrescue
