Escalon – Playful, Friendly, and Ready for Adventure Escalon is a 1-year-old Shepherd mix weighing 46 pounds with a happy-go-lucky personality and plenty of youthful enthusiasm. Social butterfly: Escalon loves meeting new people and greets volunteers with a wagging tail and eager smile. He's easy to leash and enjoys spending time with his human friends. Dog-friendly playmate: In playgroup, Escalon showed off his playful side, happily chasing and being chased by other dogs. He would likely enjoy an appropriately matched canine companion or dog friends for playdates. Active and fun-loving: This young guy enjoys getting out and exploring. He's looking for a family that can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and opportunities for adventure. Unique and resilient: Escalon has a mild deformity in one front leg that does not slow him down or affect his ability to enjoy an active lifestyle. He gets around comfortably and is ready to join his new family on daily walks and outings.
