WATCH MY VIDEO...It breaks our hearts to see Max back here. This handsome 2-year-old boy was adopted from us as a puppy and spent his entire life in one home. Sadly, he was recently returned through no fault of his own when a family member developed severe allergies. At 63 pounds, Max is still just a big puppy at heart. Shelter life has been especially hard on him. The difference between Max in his kennel and Max outside of it is night and day. Once heâs out in the yard, he runs, plays, soaks up attention, and shows everyone what a happy, loving dog he truly is. When itâs time to go back inside, he often lays down on the ground because he doesnât want to return to his kennel. Itâs difficult to watch, and our hearts hurt for him. Max is potty trained, crate trained, easy to walk, and knows commands like sit and come. He is smart, affectionate, eager to please, and loves being around people. He especially enjoys playing with other dogs and loves spending time with children. Max would do best in a home without cats, as he enjoys chasing them. After losing the only home he has ever known, Max deserves a second chance with a family who will love him forever. If youâre looking for a loyal, playful, loving companion, please come meet Max.
