Best in a cat-free home

Well, hello! Wally here.

I've got a feeling you and I could be pretty great together.

I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Wally 🐾

The rescue’s notes on Wally

Hi hi hi! I'm Wally — a 6½‑year‑old, 36‑pound Boston Terrier boy with the energy of a popcorn kernel that just popped. If you're outside, I'm outside. If there's water, I'm already in it. If there's a puddle, I have personally declared it a splash zone. I'm a very good boy (I've been told this many times, and I believe it deeply). I love to play, zoom, bounce, wiggle, and occasionally do my signature "rocket‑launch jump" that surprises everyone, including myself. I'm still learning the ropes, I play nicely with other dogs, but I'm very enthusiastic. I've got spirit. I'm working on the finesse part. Because I'm a bouncy bean, I'd probably do best with older kids who won't topple over when I do my "Wally Wiggle Greeting." Toddlers are adorable, but I might accidentally boop them into another dimension. At home, I'm a cuddle monster disguised as an athlete. I love sleeping in bed with my humans, but I'm also learning that my crate is not, in fact, a portal to another universe. I'm leash trained, excellent in the car, and currently studying for my final exam in "How To Use the Doggy Door." I've got tons of energy, but I also have a soft, snuggly side. Tell me to settle, and I'll plop down next to you like a warm loaf of bread and watch a movie. I'm basically a two‑mode creature: Turbo Mode and Cuddle Mode. I'd love a home with some doggy friends to play with or an active family who wants a goofy, water‑loving buddy to join their adventures. If you want a dog who will make you laugh, keep you moving, and then curl up on your lap like a 36‑pound marshmallow, I'm your guy. My adoption fee is $350. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Please consider becoming a foster home for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. You can fill out a foster application at Foster Application | Boston Terrier Rescue Of North Texas . This will allow you to possibly become a foster home for one of our little Boston Terriers in need. Thank you for considering the possibility of fostering for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas! Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts!
