Ready for a Fresh Start – Meet ZenaReady for a fresh start and to leave her past behind, Zena is looking for her forever family. This 1 year 5 month old finds herself here, along with her former housemates, after their previous owner was no longer able to provide the care they needed. Just like her housemates, she isn’t letting this setback stop her from living her best life from here on out — and we need your help to make that happen for this little cutie.While she has been in our care, we’ve watched this sweet girl go from nervous to offering playful bounces when meeting a new canine friend. She began by gently lying in the grass during the introduction, allowing for all the curious sniffs, and then she was ready to play. She is already coming out of her shell and will blossom even more as she gains confidence.If you have room in your heart and home for a loving and loyal companion, come meet Zena in person to see if it’s the perfect match. Meet-and-greets with other dogs and children are recommended to ensure a great fit.
