Carter is a handsome pittie mix with a big smile, a big heart, and even bigger potential. He&#39s currently looking for a new home after his previous environment wasn&#39t the right match for his needs. Recently returned to Texas from Washington State, Carter is settling back in and showing just how much he thrives with the right structure and attention. Carter is an affectionate, people loving dog who lights up when he meets new friends. He wants nothing more than a person of his own, someone who will give him consistency, guidance, and the love he&#39s been waiting for. He&#39s been making wonderful social progress at, especially around female dogs but Carter will be happiest as the only dog in the home. This is where he truly shines and can soak up all the attention he deserves. Carter has a playful personality and needs plenty of outdoor time to run, play, and burn off steam. If you enjoy an active lifestyle and want a loyal companion who will match your enthusiasm, Carter is your guy. After a lot of transition in his young life, Carter is ready for stability, love, and a home where he can finally exhale. He has so much affection to give he just needs the right person to give it to. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Carter is participating in the DFW Rescue Me guest dog program, so ongoing care and custody is provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.
