Meet Caleb! This handsome Labrador Retriever is around 6 years old and weighs approximately 65 pounds. Caleb has had a difficult past, evident from a few bald spots on his head and ears caused by old fly-strike injuries, but he hasn't let that dampen his sweet and loving spirit. Caleb is a giant puppy at heart, he is goofy, affectionate, and always ready to make you smile. He has integrated smoothly at his foster home and has been doing well with resident dogs. He enjoys being around people and is happiest when he's included in the action. Like many dogs who have spent much of their life outdoors, Caleb is still learning some house manners. He's a big, clumsy guy who occasionally bumps into things and may investigate counters or tables if given the chance. Fortunately, he's eager to learn and is making great progress as he adjusts to life as a beloved family companion. Caleb is already crate trained and house trained, and he's currently working on his leash skills. With continued guidance, patience, and love, Caleb will make a wonderful companion for a family looking for a loyal, fun-loving best friend.
