Columbus — A new survey confirms what the region’s kitchens have long suspected: while the daily kibble enjoys reliable consumption, demand spikes dramatically for whatever the human is currently eating.
Analysts attribute the gap to the well-documented principle that all food tastes better when it belongs to someone else, ideally someone not paying close attention.
“The bowl is good,” conceded one respondent. “But the plate is aspirational.”
