Opinion: It Is Time We Talked Honestly About How Few Walks There Are
A measured argument that Columbus’s current walk allocation is, respectfully, an outrage.

Columbus — Let me be clear: I am grateful. The food arrives. The bed is soft. But we must, as a community, confront an uncomfortable truth — there are simply not enough walks, and the ones we get end far too soon.
Proponents of the “we just went out” doctrine will tell you the schedule is adequate. I ask them to consider the smells we are missing in real time, even now, as I write this beside a door that remains stubbornly closed.
I do not ask for much. I ask only for one more loop around the block, and then, perhaps, one more after that.
